The Hunger Games Mall Tour: Westfield Broward
I had such an amazing time today at The Hunger Games Mall Tour in the Westfield Broward mall! When I asked to help out with the event on Monday because it was hosted by Y100, the radio station I intern, little did I know all the cool stuff I was going to get to do. Because I have a photography background, I ended up taking pictures for the station and got to spend the whole time on stage with Mack@Nite either clicking away, giving out prizes, or just pumping out the crowd. If any of you were there, I was the girl in black tunic and jeans on stage, haha! There were SO MANY people at the eveny, full of energy, excitement, and passion over a wonderful book series. It reminded me a lot of the Harry Potter fandom and the everything you felt at midnight book releases.
The coolest part of the night was definitely getting to meet the cast in private. Jennifer Lawrence, Alexander Ludwig, and Amandla Stenberg are all incredibly nice. Jennifer is super sweet, and I have to admit that I was ridiculously excited to meet her. Alexander is hilarious and was cracking jokes about how the only topic off limits during the Q&A was the film.
